At the much-awaited trailer launch of Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, while the room buzzed with excitement over the film’s zany plot and ensemble cast, one question managed to steal the spotlight — When is Janhvi Kapoor getting married?
Clearly not expecting the detour into her personal life, Janhvi handled it like a pro. With the cast — including Varun Dhawan, Sanya Malhotra, and Rohit Saraf — leaning in for her answer, Janhvi responded with a smile, “I am planning films. There is no planning for marriage right now. There is still a lot of time for marriage planning.” That’s one way to shut down wedding rumors with style and ambition.
But the conversation didn’t end there. Janhvi did give a sneak peek into her wishlist for Mr. Right. “He should be cultured, and his sense of humor should be very good,” she said. So basically, sanskar meets stand-up comedy — Tulsi Kumari would approve.
Directed by Shashank Khaitan and produced by Dharma Productions and Mentor Disciple Entertainment, Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari brings back the rom-com madness of the Dulhania universe, but with a modern, slightly savage twist — two exes plotting to crash each other’s weddings? Sign us up.
The film stars Varun Dhawan, Janhvi Kapoor, Sanya Malhotra, Rohit Saraf, Maniesh Paul, and Akshay Oberoi, and is set to release in theatres on 2nd October 2025, just in time for Dussehra.
